November 22, 2023

You’re engaged – How exciting! We know that once you’ve said “yes!” there are plenty of steps to take, including booking a venue.

Booking a venue undoubtedly comes with a lot of questions, so to make it easier on you, we’re answering the top 5 questions about hosting your Seattle wedding at THE 101, right here.

Where can my guests park?

There are multiple pay lots within a few blocks of THE 101. Rideshare options are always a great choice, and if you prefer to use public transportation, the light rail is just a 5 minute walk away and access to the street car is right outside our front doors! THE 101 can also arrange valet service, for an additional cost.

Do you have a room to get ready in?

Yes, THE 101 has a getting-ready room. Access to the Client Ready Room is included in your venue rental, from the start of your rental to the very end.

Can we bring in our own food?

Yes you can, but we have a fabulous list of vendor partners who set the bar for the level of service you should expect at your event. While you are welcome to work with vendors outside of this list, any caterer needs to have the proper license and insurance.

Who is in charge of setup and tear down?

Great question! If you do not book THE 101 Planning, you or your vendors will handle the setup and removal of anything brought into the space. Clean up (sweeping, mopping, bathrooms) is included in your rental.

If you book planning, your planner will set up and break down your personal items, and manage all your vendors to set up and remove anything they provide.
