The Basics

When you book THE 101, you’re getting more than a blank space. Our rental includes:

  • 24 consecutive hours of venue access, so you can move in, host your event, and break down without rushing. For weddings, most couples follow a timeline of 10 AM to 12 AM, but you have access from 10 AM the day of your event, until 10 AM the following day.

  • Flexible setup and teardown windows are built into your rental, with no extra fees or surprise timelines.

  • Indoor-only venue: THE 101 is a fully indoor space, perfect for Seattle’s unpredictable weather. You’ll never have to worry about a rain plan!

Tables, Chairs, and Furniture

We provide a curated selection of furnishings to help bring your wedding vision to life:

  • Tables: Guest tables and cocktail tables are all included.

  • Chairs: 200 modern black chairs are included with every rental.

  • Custom upgrades: Want a different look? You’re welcome to bring in custom rentals through an outside company. Need recommendations? Start with our epic vendor list!

  • Decor-friendly design: Our minimal, industrial-chic aesthetic serves as a beautiful blank canvas for any event theme.

Modern events often call for high-quality tech, and THE 101 delivers.

  • WiFi: Easily connect to our network to share images on social, host a webinar, or anything else.

  • Market lighting: The ultimate ambiance is already available with our market lighting throughout the space.

Need AV equipment? THE 101 offers basic options available for rent — including a projector and screen. For more complex events, we can help coordinate additional rentals through our trusted partners.

Staffing & Support

From load-in to last dance, you’ll have expert support along the way.

  • Client Concierge: Your rental includes a dedicated Client Concierge on-site during your event to ensure everything runs smoothly.

  • You bring your vendors, we handle the venue: While your vendors will manage their own setup and breakdown, our staff keeps the space ready and functional throughout the event.

  • Cleanup made easy: You or your vendors are responsible for removing items brought in, but we’ll take care of trash disposal, cleaning the floors, and resetting the space post-event.

Want to go beyond the basics? We offer optional upgrades to make planning easier:

  • Planning & coordination: Planning services are available through our in-house planning team, 828 Planning. These packages range from month-of coordination to full-service design and planning.

  • Decor and more: Rentals including ceremony backdrops, a photo booth and mylar tape designs can be reserved through THE 101 to match your event’s aesthetic.
